Name Kara's Steam Room
The Steam Room is a room where children and teens can go to let off steam. For many children, grief is an emotion that involves or needs physical release. The Steam Room provides a safe, adult-supervised place for that release. Children can yell, jump, and throw pillows. For many, it is their favorite place at Kara. This item is your chance to win naming rights to the Steam Room. For one year (June 1, 2010 – May 31, 2011) the unique Steam Room will be named in honor of your family, someone of your choice, or in memory of someone - perhaps a child - who was especially dear. The plaque on the wall will announce the name to everyone who enters. Kara’s website and all corresponding materials will call out the name of a child or family to be honored and/or memorialized in this meaningful way.
