Gone Campin'

A weekend experience for two during Kara's Camp Erin 2011. Join campers, parents, volunteers and staff as they check in on Friday, July 29th for opening ceremonies. Take a tour of the extraordinary venue - the Taylor Family Foundation's Camp Arroyo near Livermore. Twenty years ago Elaine and Barry Taylor launched the campaign to build a camp for children with life-threatening and chronic illnesses, developmental disabilities and youth at-risk. See how far their dream has soared! Tour this extraordinary green camp - the ropes course, climbing wall, chalk garden, organic garden and so much more. This is where Kara's campers (aged six to seventeen) come each summer for a weekend experience that weaves concentrated grief support throughout a schedule of great old-fashioned camp activities.

Then head out to Camp Erin, where we'll greet you at the registration table and provide a VIP tour. Summer Symphony at Stanford

Celebrate the 52nd Summer Symphony benefiting the Children's Health Council in a magical evening at Stanford University's Frost Amphitheater. The annual Summer Symphony at Stanford is one of the most popular outdoor events of the summer and is always sold out.
