Please join us in the fundraising effort for this organization. Our families have lost 2 significant women within 6 months. Pat Alvarado, wife to Ray and mother to Dirk and Stacie, grandmother/Momae to Leila ,passed on March 14. She went into the hospital on February 25, and was given the diagnosis of terminal lung cancer. Although we knew her health was fading and we had limited time, no one knew, it would be that quick. Dirk said it best, "When I talk, and joke with people, she comes through me. That is a piece of Mom that lives through me. " Every part of us, are our parents. That is her legacy.

 Christine Rivera-Cesano- Wife of Billy , Daughter to Lola/Tina and Hermenegildo/Papa, sister to Noel, Tony, Charina, Andy, and Jay. Auntie/ mom to Keana, Niko, Grant, Louis, and Leila, passed September 1 at the tender age of 38. We are still in shock of her passing because it was a VERY sudden death. She was the glue or "Godfather" of the family. Christine was probably the most driven person, but also the most giving. She remembered everyones name, and her smile lit up the room. Her legacy lives on in her family and her
 buisness, Destino Spa.
Even though we are "in laws", we are walking together as a family. Yes, every loss and grief is different, but we find comfort in those who know about losing a close loved one, and we find comfort in FAMILY. Say I love you to everyone everyday, you never know when it might be gone.
