Kara’s services are provided primarily by volunteers who have experience in healing from personal loss. Our volunteers are trained to accompany others on their journey through a life-threatening illness and/or bereavement. Kara has served the San Francisco Bay Area since 1976.

My family and I try to support The Kara Memorial Walk every year.  We walk in memory of many friends and family that we love so much, but have lost.  The (Kara foundation) memorial walk assist other friends and families that have survived their loved ones by offering grief counseling, teaming them up with others that have lost their loved ones and many other services that are much needed during a time of loss.  As always to continue programs such as The Kara Memorial walk donations are needed and appreciated.  Please donate any denomination you are able to help us reach our goal of $1,000.  You want to even consider coming to join us in the spirit of a loved one that you may have lost.
