KARA has been a source of comfort and help during our loss over the years. KARA was there for me and my children through our grieving and healing and has never turned anyone away. The services it offered and offers is immeasurable in many ways. It brought us in touch with families in similar circumstances and showed us that we were not alone in facing our pain. It offered an avenue of expressing and sharing our pain in the company of others with loving volunteers to guide the sessions.
My children expressed their grief through numerous art projects and came away with a sense of being loved by volunteers who listened to them through their art and expressions.
