Kara’s services are provided primarily by volunteers who have experience in healing from personal loss. Our volunteers are trained to accompany others on their journey through a life-threatening illness and/or bereavement. Kara has served the San Francisco Bay Area since 1976.

Please join Cat, Jonathan, Vivienne, and Micah ("meow") in raising money to support Kara's mission.  Your generosity allows Kara to continue to reach those children, teens, adults, and families in the San Francisco Bay Area whose lives have been forever altered by death and loss.  Let's be the difference and break the conspiracy of silence together.
