Since 1976 Kara has been providing compassionate support to people of all ages on their journey through grief so that they can move toward renewed hope and meaning. Thank you for supporting Kara's Annual Walk to Remember on October 6, 2012.

The faces, the names, the circumstances are different but we walk because we know what it means to grieve the loss of a loved one.  Join Team Unity Palo Alto in raising money for Kara, an organization that gives generously to its community when compassion and understanding are a gift to those on the journey to heal.

Hi All
It's that time of year again - I'm walking! I am honored to again be participating this year in Kara's annual "Walk to Remember" in honor of my late mother, Clementine Sampson. For those who are not familiar with Kara in Palo Alto, it's a non-profit grief support services center that has been helping people for many years. They were a tremendous help and support to me years ago when I lost my mom, and they are still serving our community today! So on Saturday Oct. 6th, I'll be walking with the Unity Palo Alto team to raise money for Kara, and I could use the help of my friends and family to sponsor me! Thanks so much to everyone for your help!

I am walking in memory of my dear friend Kevin Heick and my father, Elred Wicker.  Their sense of humor and laughter are greatly missed...but they still make me smile.  I am grateful to have had the fortune of finding an organization like Kara to help me honor all that they brought to my life.
