TLDR; Please help me raise money for Kara's grief support services!

On March 2nd, 2023 I suddenly became a widow--far too young. My husband, Paul Buckley, took his own life and when he did this, he left broken hearts in his wake.

I am truly grateful for the services that Kara has provided for me and my family since the forever tragic day in March. I continue to lean on and leverage the support of my Therapist at Kara Center and am raising money to ensure that others can get the grief support that is SO needed.

Everyone's grief is different but what I can tell you is that I strongly feel that the support that Kara provides is LIFE changing.  Operative word being LIFE.

So, I am trying to raise a few dollars to offset someone's support fees.  My goal is $302 because Paul died on 3/02/2023. I hope you can join me in supporting Kara and the families that will benefit.

AND... I'll be running as fast as I can to the finish line this Saturday!

Lotsa love,

Bridget Buckley

About Kara
As a nonprofit serving the San Francisco Bay Area since 1976, Kara provides comprehensive bereavement support, crisis intervention and grief education to individuals and communities facing the difficult realities of death and loss. Guided by empathy and compassion, every day we offer caring support to children and adults and provide a space where those in grief find deep relief in the company of others. Through a time-tested and highly effective peer support model, over 200 volunteers compassionately serve children and adults on their journey through grief so they can move toward renewed hope and meaning. Services are designed to be accessible and fees are not charged for our peer-based support.  We are funded primarily by charitable donations and the heartfelt generosity of the community we serve.
