As president of Kara's board of directors, I know how valuable our organization's grief therapy can be for the hundreds of people who use our services each year.

This year will be especially poignant for me as I lost my mom on January 2nd. The walk will be an opportunity for me to honor her memory hundreds of other walkers.

Since 1976 Kara has been providing compassionate support to people of all ages on their journey through grief so that they can move toward renewed hope and meaning. Thank you for supporting Kara's Annual Walk to Remember on September 28, 2013.
