Since 1976 Kara has been providing compassionate support to people of all ages on their journey through grief so that they can move toward renewed hope and meaning. Thank you for supporting Kara's Annual Walk to Remember on September 28, 2013.

Vicki Sampson O'Hare
Hi All!
Once again I am walking in honor of my mom, Clementine Sampson. Even though it's been 26 years since we lost her, there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her, and I am still benefitting from all of the wisdom she passed on to me. It's amazing how long it takes us to realize that "Mom was right" about most things! She was an amazingly sweet, funny, beautiful woman inside and out, and I am honored to be walking in her memory.
Casey Wicker
I am walking in memory of my dear friend Kevin Heick, my Uncle Dan and my father, Elred Wicker. Their sense of humor and laughter are greatly missed...but they still make me smile. I am grateful to have had the fortune of finding an organization like Kara to help me honor all that they brought to my life.
